Bachelor's project
Together with 5 other students I worked on a project that developed a Smart handlebar for bikes. Alongside this project 3 bachelor thesis' were written and used as a support for the development of the final product - MODUBAR.
The thesis title: "Product development that allows for Future Technological Advancement and Aesthetic Longevity - Design guidelines tailored for the future implemented in a new and innovative product development process"
Together with the Oskar Stedt, I explored design for aesthetic longevity, especially with focus on technical product such as a smart handlebar for bikes. This included both identifying key elements in design for longevity and possibilities for lengthening the life cycle for technological products.
This was eventually used to evaluate product development processes and the creation of a new suggested model for product development with longevity and sustainable design in focus. Moreover, design guidelines were formulated to complement the new process and aid designers as well as product developers to create products that will and can be used for a longer time.
